A few laps later he would lose another position to Dylan Ferrandis. Ferrandis went on to pass Roczen's teammate Chase Sex- ton, putting Sexton just one spot ahead of the number-94. Again, we wondered if team tactics would come into play, but Sexton held the position and did not let Roczen by. forget this moment." Stewart now sits seventh in the championship. The biggest drama of the night involved Roczen. He executed a perfect start in the main event, exactly what he needed to do, and looked to be the man to beat as he held onto any hope of a 450SX title. "We made some changes this week to improve the bike, and it didn't really work in the first prac ce, so we had to keep working on more changes, which made it hard to get comfortable. In the heat, we went the wrong way, but we made another big change, and the bike was really awesome in the main. I had a good start, then Anderson pushed me off the track, and I lost a couple of posi ons. It took me a few laps to learn the bike and to feel comfortable on it because it was a new se ng that I had never tried before. Then when I felt comfortable, I pushed and gave everything that I had. I made some good passes on some strong riders and I came back to fourth." "That was kind of how it went all day long; I was just struggling with the bike setup and trying to get going.
