He was able to get around his
teammate Cooper early on and
ride smooth, consistent laps all
the way to victory lane.
"You've ridden the track last,
which is the only advantage I
think it has," Thrasher said when
asked about riding the LCQ.
"You know the track better than
anyone else, so you just have
to lay down solid laps from the
beginning."
Cooper rode it in for a quiet
second-place finish, maintaining
a stronghold on the champion-
ship lead.
"I definitely didn't feel comfort-
able skimming [the whoops] all
main and went to the jump line,"
said Cooper. "That's probably
mate Garrett Marchbanks, the
Club MX rider would take aim at
McAdoo and blatantly clean him
out. This move put both riders
on the ground for an extended
period of time. McAdoo re-
mounted but could only salvage
13th position on the night. After
all the drama in Atlanta, he now
sits in third place, 20 points be-
hind Cooper with one race left.
"I'm disappointed, obviously,"
McAdoo said. "I'll always fight
'til the end and that's what we're
going do."
Nate Thrasher was the big
winner on Saturday night. Like
his first career win at Atlanta 1,
the rookie won the 250 LCQ and
went on to win the main event.

Hammaker in the whoops. This
bound up three other riders but
McAdoo got up and continued
to run inside the top 10, doing
anything in his power to keep
his chances alive. After making
