that, my mechanic, Jade [Dungey]
put on the board two laps to go.
I thought I saw the white flag, so
then I thought the race was over.
Then I saw Eli keep going, and I
was like, 'Uh oh.' I saw Eli jump
the next jump and I rolled it. So, it
wasn't the best ending, but it's still

Tomac had already sprinted away
to his third win of the season.
"With [the lapper], I tried to
jump inside of him really quick be-
cause I knew Eli was right there,"
Sexton said, "and the next corner
you're pretty vulnerable to getting

"The race was pre y good overall," said
Seth Hammaker of his day. "I had an
okay start and was actually in the lead
going into the first corner, but then ran
wide and got passed by a lot of people.
I felt good at the second half of the race
so I'm happy about that. The track was
super tough especially in the heat race
but was able to get the win. Overall it
was a solid day."
Second-place Chase Sexton finished on the 450SX podium
for the first time, but it wasn't as joyful as it could've been.

thinking the race was over when it wasn't.
