ROUND 6/JUNE 9, 2013
MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN
OFF-ROAD
P100
REKLUSE AMA NATIONAL ENDURO SERIES
Nick Fahringer had another consistent ride.
Keeping the ball rolling is what
Mullins has done all year and,
with his latest win, the FMF/
KTM rider has now topped five
out of the six rounds held so far
- his lone defeat coming in Texas
where he experienced mechanical problems, otherwise he might
be undefeated at this point.
"I think we have everything dialed in pretty good with the bike
now, and all we need to do is stay
out of trouble and be consistent,"
said Mullins, who would like nothing better than to win a GNCC
title and a National Enduro title
in the same year. And at the moment he is leading both series.
The pressure on Mullins was
significantly dropped coming into
the Loose Moose after learning
that his nearest competitor in
the series, Russell Bobbitt, was
going to have to miss this round
and quite possibly the next one
as well because of an injury he
sustained earlier in the week.
Bobbitt fell while practicing suffering broken ribs and a punctured lung.
Up to this point now, Fahringer
seems to be the most consistent
of the riders not named Mullins,
