and it was soon being announced that he
was in the lead. Mechanical issues relating
to an electrical component soon had him in
the pits for a win-killing period of time, forcing Thomas back on
the course to try and salvage points.
Baylor in the meantime was on fire and streaked to another
XC2 win allowing him to over take Thomas as the class points
leader.
For the FAR Husky team, the weekend was filled with thoughts
of what could have been as their star rider, Andrew Delong, was
injured at a local event in which he suffered a broken hand. Nick
Davis would step up and claim his first podium aboard his F.A.R.
Josh Strang got
what he needed – a
confident-inspiring
podium finish.
