Marvin Musquin claimed his
first moto win on U.S. soil.

and could relate. They themselves had had those same wide
eyes sometime in their life – maybe while making a getaway from
big brother or from the neighbors'
dog. They instinctively knew what
Musquin was feeling and they
wanted him to overcome. He was
trying to win his first moto ever in
America and was being chased
closely by teammate and series
leader Ken Roczen. In the end
there was happiness for Musquin
and his supporters, he made it to
the checkers first and his eyes
went from panic to joy when he
conquered Mt. Morris, planting
the German flag at the summitt.
450 National
There were seemingly three divisions in the first 450 moto: There
was Villopoto, there was Dungey,
and there was The Field.
In morning qualifying, the
track was sketchy at best. Copious rains in the days before
