IIIMY OWN RACE:
especially in the first laps. I expected a
li le bit be er because this morning we
found something that helps me to ride
be er. I thought that I could stay with
the group in front, but we did not have
enough to do so. We also suffered a
bit with the rear grip with the so re.
We've tried a different swingarm and
that has helped a bit. There are a lot of
European tracks where we know the
grip is good, so hopefully we can expect
be er results. We will see what happens
in Por mao."
44 POL ESPARGARO
13TH MOTOGP
"This race we once again showed that
our poten al is incredibly high, our pace
was really strong especially during the
middle and the end of the race, but I
made two big mistakes which ruined our
chances," Repsol Honda's Pol Espargaro
said. "We could have been figh ng for a
lot more, especially without the second
error. We have again been able to finish
close to the winner despite this, but
I am le wondering what could have
been. These two races have both shown
that our poten al on the Honda is very,
very high but we s ll need to work on a
couple of things including qualifying."

The speed of Martin's,
Zarco's, Bagnaia's and Miller's
Ducati Desmosedici GP21s was
incredible, as the four Italian
machines enjoyed an enormous
top-speed advantage that kept
them in the hunt.
The poor relation was again
the Suzukis of Alex Rins and
World Champion Joan Mir, who
carved their way to the front only
for the Bologna Bullets to lay
waste to them on the straights.
(Left) Pol Espargaro had another
race that fell below expectations
on the Repsol Honda, coming
home 13th. Brad Binder (33) went
the other way, qualifying 18th and
finishing eighth.
