We featured a photo of Hank Scott from the Ascot Half-Mile and Bob
Grossi from Hangtown on the cover of Cycle News 50 years ago. The
Ascot race was the first of weekly Friday-night races of the season which
saw a record number of 170 racers turning out. Grossi won the third annual
Hangtown Motocross that was held at Plymouth, California... We tested
Honda's new CB450 street bike. It sold for under $1000... We covered the
6th annual Windowmaker Hillclimb in Utah. No one made it over the top.
