IN THE WIND P46 NEPG To Step Down After 2021 Enduro Season A lan and Melissa Randt, the founders of the National Enduro Promoters Group, an- nounced it will no longer pro- duce/promote the AMA National Enduro Championship after the 2021 season. The Randt's started the NEPG 15 years ago, working with local race organizations to help give the championship more uniformi- ty and improve the racing format, which they obviously succeeded in doing. The Randt's issued this state- ment: After careful consideration, the NEPG will be stepping down as the promotions com- pany of the Kenda AMA Nation- al Enduro Series presented by Moose Racing after the com- pletion of the 2021 season. 2021 is marking our 15th season promoting the series and we feel it is time that we step aside and let others continue the leadership role of this legendary series. The sport of enduro is the oldest form of AMA competition and we are very thankful that we have had the opportunity to be a small part of a great series. Our goal has always been to help the hard-working clubs that host the events, with what- ever we can to make it easier for them, along with making the series more standardized. We believe that we have accom- plished a lot of those goals with the help of all the dedicated club members that we have had the pleasure working with over the past 15 years. We are hopeful that others will become involved continu- ing to elevate the National En- duro Series as we have helped to do, as it is a sport that we re- ally enjoy and would like to see it continue to prosper. We hope that the National Enduro Series will continue to grow with new ideas and perspectives through the strong partnerships be- tween the clubs, sponsors, manufacturers, riders, and the AMA. We are excited to continue to work with everyone as hard as ever to make the 2021 Kenda AMA National Enduro Series presented by Moose Racing the best one yet. To all the clubs, volunteers, sponsors, NEPG staff, manu- facturers, riders, media, the AMA and friends, it is impos- sible to thank you enough for helping us with this adventure, together we accomplished far more than we ever thought was possible. See you at the races. Regards, Alan & Melissa Randt CN Alan and Melissa Randt plan to hand over the reins of the National Enduro Series to another organization in 2022.
