IN THE WIND P54 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S Preview O ne of the bikes we're sadly not going to get this year (but we will next year) is the revamped KTM 1290 Super Adventure S. KTM's grand sports touring machine has been comprehen- sively overhauled and comes with so many new features including a new chassis, next-gen semi-active WP suspension, adaptive cruise control, revamped LC8 motor and new ergonomics. KTM's Street Marketing Man- ager, Riaan Neveling and KTM's Head of Product Management, Adriaan Sinke, have put together this excellent video that takes you through all the details and more of the 2021 (2022 for us) KTM 1290 Super Adventure S. CN Honda Rebel 1100 Review Video I n case you missed our road test on the all-new Honda Rebel 1100, we've put together a short test video to give you a glimpse of what the new DCT version is like to ride. The Rebel 1100 sits at the top of Honda's revamped cruiser tree, which now stands at seven machines strong. What's im- portant here is Honda now has three Rebels—the base model 300, 500 and now the 1100— marking a proper family cruiser tree instead of the more tradi- tional Fury, Shadow Phantom and Aero, and the CTX700N. The Rebel 1100 is not so much a cruiser for cruiser's sake but a new take on the segment that's dominated by Harley-Davidson and Indian. Honda wants riders to custom- ize their Rebels, and the fact it costs less than $10K makes changing aesthetic features not as daunting as on a $20K Indian. CN
