never close enough to make a
pass. He touched on the fact
that he had been struggling with
his body, even fighting an auto-
immune disease leading up to
this season. He has since sorted
out those issues and credits his
podium finish to getting healthy
and never giving up despite his
past season struggles. Law-
rence is third in the 250SX West
points, 12 points down from
McAdoo.

I am pumped to be back up on
the podium again tonight for the
third week in a row. I feel really
good about where we are at and
we just need to be smart and
consistent each race in order to
keep building on this six-point
championship lead. I also want
to say congrats to my teammate,
Seth, he rode great all day and
I am just so pumped for him.
I know the feelings and emo-
tions he's going through as I just
experienced them myself last
weekend."
Hunter Lawrence (Honda
HRC) was able to grab his first
career Supercross podium. He
closed the gap to Hammaker
near the end of the race but was
Hammaker and teammate Jordon
Smith (80) battled for the 250SX
main lead. Unfortunately for Smith,
he went down again.
