he 2021 MotoGP preseason
concluded at the Losail Inter-
national Circuit, March 9-12, with
Jack Miller posting the fastest-
ever lap of the Qatari venue on
day three.
The Australian set a new all-
time lap of 1:53.183 on his factory
Ducati Team Desmosedici GP21
to finish the test athead of a trio
of Yamahas ridden by Maverick
Vinales, Fabio Quartararo and
Franco Morbidelli, with Miller's
teammate Francesco Bagnaia
rounding out the top five.
The final day of testing saw
high winds blow sand onto the
racetrack and most riders stayed
in the pits, with only KTM's Danilo
Petrucci and Brad Binder, along
with Honda's Pol Espargaro,
Takaaki Nakagami and Stefan
Bradl posting lap times.
"I'm delighted with these two
test sessions in Qatar," Miller
said. "Yesterday's [Thursday's]
race simulation went well, and
we were also able to get positive
feedback from the different tests
we did on the bike. My feeling
with the front end is excellent,
