t has been a long time coming
but the wait was worth it for Nick
Fahringer. After many years of
trying, the Husaberg rider finally
achieved his first OMA National
victory, and he did it in what was
a very strong field of riders. The
enduro specialist broke away
from the pack on lap two of the
OMA Nationals Springfield Armory
Chaffee Crossing XC and rode to a
solid 35-second margin of victory
over the second place rider, defending champ Paul Whibley.
