VOLUME 58 ISSUE 8 FEBRUARY 23, 2021 P53 BY KIT PALMER PHOTOGRAPHY BROWNDOG WILSON C ooper Webb took another bite out of Ken Roczen's points lead after sweeping the two Orlando rounds of the 2021 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series at Camping World Stadium. Webb, on the Red Bull KTM, took full advantage of his own good start, and a bad start by Roczen, to chop the Honda rider's champion- ship lead to just six points, as the series crosses into the second half of the 17-round championship. Webb, however, had to work hard to get into the lead. First, he had to get around Justin Barcia, which is never an easy task, and then he had to chase down hole- shotter Adam Cianciarulo, who at first appeared to be on track to nab his career-first win. Cooper Webb trails Ken Roczen by just six points after sweeping Orlando 1 and 2 Supercross (rounds seven and eight of the championship) races.
