Jett Lawrence nailed the hole-
shot in the 250SX East main with
the two championship leaders
settling in right behind him—
Nichols second and Craig third.
Lawrence, who is no longer in
championship contention after

rewarded with his second career
victory.
"Today was a smooth day,"
Lawrence said. "I felt like I

whole way and never gave up
on the win, but he was happy
to finish ahead of Craig. "I just

as well as I wanted to," Nichols
said of the start. "Jett got ahead
of me and was able to control
the inside. So that was kind of
the race right there.
"The track was a little difficult
to pass on, and it was so slick,"
Nichols added. "The moisture
started to come up, and it got

thing. I just was a little bummed
about my riding. I felt really flat
