Christian Craig Injury Update C hristian Craig gave his fans an update on the hand injury that he suffered at the Orlando 1 Supercross. The Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha Team 250SX East rider crashed in his heat race and came out of it holding his right hand and headed back to the pits. He returned for the LCQ, which he won, but was saying he felt a lot of discomfort with his heavily bruised hand. He said afterward that he wasn't sure he was going to be able to race the main event after the crash. Still, he lined up for the main event and finished third, keeping his title chances alive. The following day, Craig's wife Paige posted on Instagram that Christian had the hand x-rayed at a nearby Urgent Care facility which revealed no fractures. However, Paige said they will get a second opinion when they get home to California. Luckily for Craig, he has more than nine weeks to heal up before the championship- deciding race in Salt Lake City, Utah, in May. Craig trails his teammate and champion- ship leader Colt Nichols by eight points in the race for the number-one plate. CN Early diagnosis of Christian Craig's right hand revealed no broken bones.
