30 Years Ago FEBRUARY 13, 1991 Jean-Michel Bayle won the Seattle Supercross 30 years ago. Home- state hero Larry Ward was hoping to make it two Seattle wins in a row after claiming his first career SX victory here a year early. He started out in the lead but ended up fourth, behind Bayle, Damon Bradshaw and Jeff Stanton; Jeremy McGrath won the 125cc main over Steve Lamson... The Larry Roeseler/Ted Hunnicutt duo won the Parker 400... Danny Hamel won the opening Hare & Hound round at Lucerne... We tested the 1991 KTM 250 E-XC. 20 Years Ago JANUARY 31, 2001 Jeremy McGrath and Ricky Carmichael battled it out for the win at the Anaheim Supercross, round three of the EA Sports Supercross Series. The two bumped elbows a couple of times. At the end, McGrath emerged victorious. Kevin Windham took third. Ernesto Fonseca won the 125cc West main... Rusty Holland won the National Arenacross at the Lazy E Arena in Oklahoma... Alan Cathcart rode Alex Criville's 500cc World Championship-winning Repsol Honda NSR500.
