Jean-Michel Bayle won the Seattle Supercross 30 years ago. Home-
state hero Larry Ward was hoping to make it two Seattle wins in a row
after claiming his first career SX victory here a year early. He started out in
the lead but ended up fourth, behind Bayle, Damon Bradshaw and Jeff
Stanton; Jeremy McGrath won the 125cc main over Steve Lamson...
The Larry Roeseler/Ted Hunnicutt
duo won the Parker 400... Danny
Hamel won the opening Hare &
Hound round at Lucerne... We tested
the 1991 KTM 250 E-XC.

JANUARY 31, 2001
Jeremy McGrath and Ricky Carmichael battled it out for the win at the
Anaheim Supercross, round three of the EA Sports Supercross Series.
The two bumped elbows a couple of times. At the end, McGrath emerged
victorious. Kevin Windham took third. Ernesto Fonseca won the 125cc
West main... Rusty Holland won the National Arenacross at the Lazy E
Arena in Oklahoma... Alan Cathcart rode Alex Criville's 500cc World
Championship-winning Repsol Honda NSR500.
