leaderboard, which explains
why both riders were wearing
red numberplates at this race,
but Nichols will be the sole rider
wearing red on Tuesday, after
coming out on top of the 250SX
East main event and a thrilling
last lap that didn't go well for
Craig (or for Jett Lawrence, for
that matter).
The '21 Supercross Cham-
pionship packed up its things
and headed to Indianapolis
after three exciting rounds in
Houston, and now the traveling
Supercross circus has pitched
up its tent at Lucas Oil Stadium
in Indianapolis for another three-
race visit, the first taking place
last Saturday, the second on
Tuesday night (February 2), and
the third and final Indy race tak-
ing place next Saturday (Febru-
ary 6).

T
he win might've come at
least a week later than he
thought it should have,
but Ken Roczen claimed his
first Supercross victory of the
year. In doing so, he becomes
the fourth different winner in as
many rounds, which happen to
be the first four races of 2021.
Perhaps more importantly,
though, Roczen has now
stretched out his champi-
onship points lead to six,
which at this point of the
championship seems
like a lot when you con-
sider just how tight the
championship has been
since Houston 1 when Jus-
tin Barcia won, which already
seems like a decade ago.
And things were even tighter
in the 250SX East Champion-
ship. Coming into Indy 1, Mon-
