2-12 450SX
Dylan Ferrandis was thrilled to get on
the podium, second, on Tuesday night.
"I never expected this race," he said
Tuesday. "It's a big surprise to be here
on the podium, honestly. I always work
really hard, and it looks like it paid off. I
gave everything I had all the way to the
checkered flag. We had to think a lot
on the bike to be crea ve and find new
lines and to try and do some different
things on track to be be er. I wasn't
trying to rush anything, and some guys
made mistakes." Saturday wasn't as
magical. "It was a difficult track," he
said a er ge ng 12th in Saturday's
race. "Nothing really crazy, but it was
hard to do everything correctly and
make no mistakes. We struggled a li le
bit with the bike and tried some differ-
ent se ngs today...but it didn't work.
We came back to what we had at the
last race, but I just didn't feel good on
the bike today. I was a li le red from
the past two races with the lack of
training this winter."
