IN THE WIND P46 2021 Aprilia Tuono V4 First Look A prilia has unveiled a new-look Tuono V4 for the 2021 model year. Using references from the new RSV4 superbike and the RS 660 midsize sport bike, the Tuono will get a revised swing- arm, new electronics and new aerodynamics in the form of the double-layered fairing that was first pioneered on the RS 660. The Tuono V4 will not be getting the capacity hike of the RSV4, staying instead with its 175 horsepower, 1077cc capacity for at least another year. It will, however, get the new electronics suite that now includes adjust- able engine brake control, six riding modes (three for the road, three for the track), new traction and wheelie control algorithms, LED cornering lights and a new TFT color dash. The main chassis will remain the same, but the Tuono V4 will get a new underslung swingarm, similar to the design used by the Aprilia team in MotoGP. There will, once again, be a Factory edition of the Tuono V4, which will get all these changes plus an all-black color scheme and the Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 electronics suspension. Available in the Tarmac Grey and Glacier White color schemes, the base Tuono V4 will cost $15,499 MSRP, while the Tuono V4 Factory will come in at $19,499. Both models will be available by the end of July this year. CN The 2021 Aprilia Tuono V4 will be getting a few nice improvements but won't be getting the RSV4's 1099cc motor.
