Jus n Barcia talked about his broken
shi lever during Tuesday's main event.
"I didn't get a very good jump in the
main event and we were outside the
top-five pushing each other, and I just
cross-ru ed a li le bit, clipped a Tuff
Block and ended up breaking a shi er
off. With my luck, it got stuck in first
gear, so I did a lap, and I was pre y
nervous—I missed the triple. I tried the
jumps in first gear but it was squirrelly
when the dirt is s cky like that so I just
salvaged what I could." On Saturday,
Barcia improved to fourth. "I felt good
going into the main event," Barcia said.
"The track was pre y rough and beat
up, and I came off the line a li le bit
late and didn't get the best of starts,
but I worked my way up to fourth. I
was behind third and made a mistake
in the sand and went down. All-in-all, I
should have been on the podium."
