Marquez Makes Progress
A
ccording to Repsol Honda Team, Marc
Marquez visited the Hospital Ruber Interna-
cional in Madrid, Spain, for a medical check-up
on his slow-healing broken arm.
This comes six weeks after the eight-time
world champion had surgery on the arm that
was performed on December 3 for an infected
pseudarthrosis of the right humerus.
The team reports that "a satisfactory clinical
and radiographic evolution has been confirmed
for the time of evaluation." The team went on to
say that Marquez "will continue with the specific
antibiotic treatment and with a functional recov-
ery program adapted to his clinical situation."
Marquez injured the arm when he crashed at
the first round of the 2020 MotoGP Championship in Jerez. He's
undergone three surgeries since the crash and is expected to have
a six-month recovery time since his last surgery. CN
So far so good.
Marc Marquez got a
"satisfactory" report
from his doctors
following a six-week
update since his most
recent (December 3)
surgery on his arm.
