Dungey followed Barcia for some time then made the pass for the lead on a fast, rough downhill section. It's the same shoulder he injured at the Toronto Supercross back in March. "He's going to the doctor on Tuesday for an MRI and we won't know anything until then," said team manager Mike Larocco. Lucas Oil Troy Lee Designs Honda's Jessy Nelson was also absent at Lakewood as his elbow is still bothering him. "He came back for Hangtown and probably shouldn't have even ridden last week," said one of the team's technicians. "It was too early and now he might have done more damage to it." Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Darryn Durham was in attendance at Thunder Valley, but didn't ride.
