For the first time, Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, Tennessee, will host a round of the Lucas
Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. However,
the track has a long history of amateur racing and
is well regarded by both riders and fans. Unfortunately, local legend Mike Brown won't be there.
He'll be racing the Baja 500 on the same day.

your bags and head south for the 45th running of
the SCORE Tecate Baja 500. There's been a renewed interest in Baja racing by some of the manufacturers, so no longer is Baja an automatic win for
Honda on the world-famous peninsula, though they
are still the favorite. It's now a race again.
