Dan Brown and crew at the Trials Training Center did a fantastic job of accommodating the large contingent of spectators and also of hosting and coordinating the championship event. Pat Smage was the only American to ride the Red line, which is the line designated for the top riders. The Sherco USA-backed rider held his own during the first two laps of Saturday's event, but succumbed to fatigue on the final lap and dropped to 11th overall. On Saturday, Smage finished 12th and on Sunday he moved up one position to 11th. Fresh off a third place finish at the Barcelona X Games Enduro X, Cody Webb traveled to Tennessee where he won the Open division, designated for American riders riding the Blue line.
