priced at $10,499.
2021 Aprilia Tuono 660 First Look
T
he Aprilia Tuono V4 now has
a baby brother in the all-new
2021 Tuono 660.
Based heavily on the RS 660
sport bike that was released for
the 2021 model year, the Tuono
660 uses much of the same tech
and mechanical components but
in more comfortable naked bike
bodywork.
At the heart is the same 659cc
parallel-twin four-stroke motor that
pumps out a claimed 95 horse-
power and 49 lb-ft of torque.
The twin-spar aluminum chas-
sis is the same, as is the suspen-
sion with the rear shock working
directly off the swingarm in a
package weighing a claimed 403
pounds curb.
The 660 is packed with
electronics in the same Aprilia
Performance Ride Control
system as on the RS that fea-
tures eight-level traction control,
wheelie control, cruise control,
engine brake, ABS and five
selectable engine maps, with the
electronics guided by informa-
tion fed by a six-axis Continental
Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU).
A three-stage headlight featuring
Daytime Running Lights illumi-
nate the ride.
Available in Concept Black,
Iridium Grey and the same Acid
Gold color of the RS, the Tuono
is priced at $10,499 MSRP and
will be in dealers soon. CN
