Bar X/Chaparral/Ecstar Suzuki
Team Announced
S
uzuki announced that it will support a four-
rider team in the 250SX class in the 2021
Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series. The
new factory supported Bar X/Chaparral/Ecstar
Suzuki Team will be made up of Dylan Schwartz,
Derek Drake, John Short and Sean Cantrell.
The team will be managed by Larry Brooks.
Schwartz and Drake will compete in the 250SX
West Championship and Short and Cantrell in
the East. Drake is currently healing up from a
broken leg.
"Bar X and Suzuki have worked hard the last
few years building our program with top amateur
athletes, and competing in select pro events," said
Larry Brooks Team Manager of the Bar X Suzuki
Team. "We feel we are in a great place to take
the next step and become the primary 250 class
program for Suzuki. We are dedicated to compet-
ing with the best and making sure the RM-Z250
is up front when the gate drops for the 2021 Race

GasGas Introduces U.S. Off-Road Team
G
asGas announced its two-rider off-road team
for 2021. The new Coastal GasGas Factory
Racing Team will be made up of Ricky Russell and
Johnny Girroir. Russell will compete on the Gas-
Gas EX 450F and Girroir on the EX 250F.
Both riders will compete in the Grand National
Cross Country (GNCC), National Enduro Champi-
onship and select off-road events.
Eight-time GNCC Champion Barry Hawk
will be the team's manager.
GasGas will also support two riders in
the MotoTrials USA National Champion-
ship. Daniel Blanc-Gottet will compete in
the Pro class, while Madeleine Hoover will
compete in the Women's Pro Champion-
ship. She is already a three-time champ.
Both will compete aboard the GasGas TXT
GP 300. CN
