taly's MV Agusta has teamed up
with legendary French sports-
car manufacturer Alpine to create
the MV Agusta Superveloce
Alpine.
Based on the 798cc Super-
veloce and giving a nod to the
Alpine 110, the motorcycle will
be limited to 110 units worldwide,
although MV Agusta USA is yet
to release price and availability
details for the American market.
"Many Alpine customers are
also big MV Agusta fans, and
vice-versa," said Timur Sardarov,
CEO MV Agusta Motor S.p.A.
"The Superveloce Alpine will
ideally bring the two worlds to-
gether, with incredible synergies
in terms of design, personality
and style."
The Superveloce Alpine dif-
fers from the base model by
way of the metallic Blu Alpine/
Ago Silver livery, with each
model receiving its serial num-
ber stamped into the top triple
clamp. The Alpine logo will also
be embossed in the leather tank
strap, with unique stitching used
for the Alcantara seat.
Under the fairing sits a now
Euro 5-compliant 798cc inline-
three-cylinder motor, produc-
ing 147 horsepower at 13,000
rpm, with torque measured at a
claimed 64 lb-ft at 10,100 rpm.
Spent gasses now exit through
a twin-outlet black Arrow muffler,
compared to the triple outlet of
the standard Superveloce.
