T
he Motorcycle Industry Council
(MIC) is bringing the American
International Motorcycle Expo (AIM-
Expo) online for 2021.
Presented by Dairyland, AIMExpo
Connect will be held January 21-22,
2021, bringing the powersports in-
dustry together for the first time since
the onset of Covid-19. The show will
feature an opening keynote address
by Erik Pritchard, president and CEO
of the MIC, a series of timely educa-
tional seminars, a virtual show floor
and a product-launch platform to help
manufacturers and service providers
connect with industry dealers and
retailers.
"AIMExpo has always focused on
providing a platform that brings the in-
dustry together, in one place, at one
time. We created AIMExpo Connect
to kick off 2021 and provide a central,
digital marketplace to showcase the
newest and best powersports prod-
ucts in the market," said Cinnamon
Kernes, vice president and general
manager of MIC Events. "Nothing will
replace face-to-face meetings and
events, but we didn't want to wait to
gather. We're here to help the indus-
try connect, and our unique match-
making system will help exhibitors
and dealers make real connections."

Drake, who spent much of his amateur days riding
KTMs through the Orange Brigade program, made
his pro debut in 2019 as a member of the Troy Lee
Designs/Red Bull/KTM Team but was left off the
squad when the 2021 team, now on GasGas machin-
ery, was announced last month. It is not yet known
when the Californian will be able to race again, or
what his future racing plans will be. CN
