IN THE WIND P28 Tennessee Knockout Confirmed For 2021 T he 11th annual Tennessee Knockout (TKO) has been confirmed to take place on the weekend of August 13-15, 2021 at the Trials Training Center in Sequatchie, Tennessee. The event is expected to be part of the WESS Enduro World Cham- pionship, as was initially planned for 2020 prior to the Coronavirus pandemic forcing the series to take a one-year sabbatical. The racing format will be like past years with a prologue on Friday to set amateur-racer start- ing positions followed by two rounds of amateur racing on Sat- urday and a four-round Sunday competition. The event will also continue to serve as the AMA Grand Championship for Extreme Off-Road racing. "We have had 10 great years of TKO events and look forward to starting on the next chapter with more exciting news to be shared in the coming months," said Eric Peronnard, co-producer of the Tennessee Knockout. "We are working on a few new ideas and improvements as well as work- ing with WESS to be a part of their 2021 series, as we originally planned for 2020." Red Bull will continue to be a partner with the TKO event in 2021 with plans for broadcast coverage. CN The Red Bull Tennessee Knockout is already on the 2021 racing calendar. Davies Gets Career Lifeline With Go Eleven C haz Davies will line up on the starting grid for the 2020 WorldSBK Championship after putting pen to paper to join the Go Eleven Ducati satellite outfit. Davies will thus do a bike swap with Michael Ruben Rinaldi, who took his ride in the factory Aruba. It team alongside Scott Redding. "I think it's a great opportunity next year for myself and the Go Eleven Team to continue our progression," said Davies. "I had a great end to the 2020 season, winning the last race in Estoril and scoring the most points in the last nine races. Go Eleven put together a great 2020 season as well. I think it has the makings of a really strong partner- ship for 2021." CN Chaz Davies will take Rinaldi's old bike at Go Eleven for 2021.
