VOLUME 57 ISSUE 48 DECEMBER 1, 2020 P45
S
eeing as the Kawasaki Z H2 came out at
the start of this year, we weren't expecting
anything new on the model for 2021. How-
ever, Kawasaki has still given the utterly mental
supercharged Z H2 a few new goodies by fitting
the new Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension
(KECS) and Brembo Stylema four-piston calipers
matched to a new Brembo master-cylinder.
The suspension is the Showa Skyhook EERA
(Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment) that
alters suspension damping every millisecond for
the 43mm fork and Showa BFRC Lite shock.
You'll get four modes of Sport, Road, Rain and
Rider, which work together with the suspension
to provide optimized handling.
With the fitment of the Styelma calipers, the
Z H2 SE now has higher grade stopping power
than even the new ZX-10R, which is slightly odd
given the Z H2 SE is less about overall perfor-
mance compared to the ZX-10R superbike.
The rest of the machine is as-you-were, with
the same uber-powerful supercharged 998cc
inline four motor, TFT dash and a full suite of rider
aids like traction control, Cornering ABS and
cruise control.
The 2021 Kawasaki Z H2 SE will set you back
$19,700 and will be available in Golden Blazed
Green or Metallic Diablo Black colors. CN
