However, it wasn't to be this time
around. Miller, with three corners to go,
sent it up the inside of the final left hander
and block-passed Morbidelli, eventually
holding on for second place by just over
one hundredth of a second.
Oliveira was long gone by the flag,
taking a resounding 3.1-second win after
taking it easy on the last lap.
Fourth went to Red Bull KTM's Pol Es-
pargaro in his final ride before he switches
to Repsol Honda in 2021. He was just
under a second clear of Takaaki Nakagami
(Idemitsu LCR Honda) in fifth, followed
by Andrea Dovizioso, in what may well be
his final MotoGP season, Repsol Honda's
ultra-impressive Stefan Bradl, Aprilia's Aleix
Espargaro, Repsol Honda's Alex Marquez
and Ducati's Johann Zarco in 10th.
