IN THE WIND P32 Red Bull KTM Announces '21 SX/MX Team K TM announced its super- cross/motocross team for 2021. And the big news is the Red Bull KTM factory team will now in- clude a 250cc rider, who will join returning 450cc riders Cooper Webb and Marvin Musquin. Since 2015 the Troy Lee De- signs/Red Bull outfit has been in charge of KTM's 250cc racing program in both supercross and motocross, but it was announced a few weeks earlier that TLD was switching to GasGas mo- torcycles beginning in 2021. As a result, KTM will, once again, go in-house with its 250-racing program and will support a single rider, Maximus Vohland, who will make his professional debut in 2021. Vohland is a product of KTM's Orange Brigade Amateur Moto- cross program and is a five-time Loretta Lynn's AMA National Champion. He was recently crowned 2019 AMA Youth Rider of the Year. As far as the 450 team goes, nothing has changed. However, both Webb and Musquin are, once again, healthy and ready to win back the 450SX and 450MX titles for KTM. CN Cooper Webb and Marvin Musquin return with the Red Bull KTM Team, while KTM's 250cc race program goes back in- house with newcomer Maximus Vohland. Savatgy, Bogle To Team Rocky Mountain ATV-MC/KTM/WPS T eam Rocky Mountain ATV-MC/KTM/WPS will be made up of two 450cc riders for the 2021 Monster Energy AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross Championship season. The team announced the signing of Joey Savatgy and returning rider Justin Bogle. Surprisingly, the team appears to have parted ways with veteran racer Blake Baggett who still had an- other year left on his three-year deal with the team. There has been no announcement from the Baggett camp as of yet. Team owner Forrest Butler said in a release, "I am excited to announce our 2021 lineup with Justin and Joey. I feel both guys are not just riding very well, but they are both extremely happy and enjoying the opportunity they have with the team. And with how tough what we do is, enjoying what you're doing is key right now." CN Joey Savatgy will join returning Justin Bogle on Team Rocky Mountain ATV-MC/KTM/WPS. Blake Baggett appears to have parted company with the team. PHOTO: JESSE ZIEGLER
