FIM MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
ROUND 15 / NOVEMBER 20-22, 2020
AUTÓDROMO INTERNACIONAL DO ALGARVE / PORTIMAO, PORTUGAL
P60
It was always going to be an absolutely spell-binding
final Moto3 race of the season, with Raul Fernandez
(Red Bull KTM Ajo) decimating the field to win his
second race of the year. However, it was but Albert
Arenas (Gaviota Aspar Team Moto3) who claimed the
2020 Moto3 World Championship title after finishing
12th in a tense title battle. Tony Arbolino (Rivacold
Snipers Team) came from 27th on the grid to finish fifth
to take second in the championship, level on points
with eighth-place Portimao finisher Ai Ogura (Honda
Team Asia). The Italian and Japanese rider missed out
on the title by four points in the end as Dennis Foggia
(Leopard Racing) and Jeremy Alcoba (Kommerling
Gresini Moto3) completed the Portimao podium.
