the final round (and race) on Tuesday.
He also did it while nursing a serious
cut to his hand—which required 10
stitches—that he suffered in a crash
at round four. As good a season as it
was for Hart, the Canadian is still not
completely satisfied.
"I don't even really care about the
overall…unless you're number one, it
doesn't even matter," Hart said after
his final-round victory. "All I care about
is getting that number one. So, the
most important thing for me is that I
am there with Colton and Cody and
can compete for that number one. I
had a good season and the Sherco
factory was able to send over some
maps and settings to help improve the
bike. The tougher tracks these last
few races also helped me be more
competitive. Ultimately, it was a good
year and I feel that we can improve
from here."
Hart, who recently took Webb's
place on the FMF/KTM Team when
Webb moved over to Sherco, had
a breakthrough season. He's now
proven that he is indeed the real deal
when it comes to contending for the
AMA EnduroCross Championship. He
won multiple motos and claimed two
