FINAL ROUNDS
Like most racing events in 2020,
the AMA EnduroCross Series has
been rescheduled multiple times
to try to get a championship in for
the riders and fans. A plan was
created to host four of six rounds
on back-to-back weekends at Glen
Helen Raceway and then take it
back inside the Ford Idaho Center
near Boise, Idaho. However, the
final two rounds in Idaho had to be
rescheduled to Glen Helen Race-
way. Round five will take place
on Monday, November 2 and the
final, round six, will take place on
Tuesday, November 3.
YOUTH MOVEMENT
Several teenagers have stepped
up to the pro class for 2020.
Australian transplant Will Riordan
is currently eighth in points with a
best finish so far of ninth overall.
Pennsylvanian Ryder LeBlond has
been a top finisher at several of
the AMA Extreme events over the
past two years, and he has a high
finish of eighth at round two before
a knee injury held him back to
16th at round three, but he came
back for a 10th at round four and
is currently holding 12th in points.
Anthony Johnson came up through
the ranks riding the EnduroCross
TrialsCross and Amateur classes.
He has qualified four all four main
events and is currently 16th in
points. Daniel Lewis and 16-year-
old Angus Riordan (Will's younger
brother) have also qualified for
main events.
