Destry Abbott, had a breakout
weekend by taking a moto win
combined with two fourth places
finishes to earn third overall on
Friday. The RPM KTM team rider
followed that up with a fifth-place
finish on Saturday (4-5-7) to come
away fourth in the championship.
SRT Off-Road-backed Cory
Graffunder had a good start
to the series with a fifth overall
on Friday via 5-4-5 moto fin-
ishes. The EnduroCross veteran
improved to fourth overall on
Saturday with 5-3-5 moto scores
to show that he is fit and ready to
compete at the front of the pack.
Noah Kepple, Husqvarna,
came away from the weekend
sixth in points after finishing sixth
on Friday (7-6-6) and seventh on
Saturday (8-8-6).
Beta rider Benjamin Herrera
came away from the weekend
with seventh overall in points with
eighth- and sixth-place finishes.
Four riders tied on points
for eighth after the two days of
racing. Pennsylvanian teenager
Ryder LeBlond had 12th- and
eighth-place finishes on his KTM
in his first two EnduroCross
races. Anthony Johnson, an-
other teenager racing his first pro
season had 11th- and ninth-place
finishes riding a KTM. And yet
another teenager, Will Riordan
took 10th-place finishes on both
days riding a KTM. Ty Cullins was
the other rider that comes out of
the first two rounds tied eighth in
points. The TM rider had finished
ninth on Friday and 11th on Satur-
day.
Cody Webb had a
successful debut
on the FactoryOne
Sherco 300 SEF but
is looking to improve
in the remaining
rounds.
Trystan Hart set the fast
hot-lap qualifying time
both days and won a
moto during round two on
Saturday. He appears to
have the speed necessary
to get his first overall win
this season.
