before I leave that gate, that's where I'm going to be, and I feel like I've run through it in my mind. I look at it like practice. But it's challenging when they're seeing where I'm going behind me and can pick apart the track, and I'm left to try to figure it out. At the beginning I feel like I wasn't flowing too well, but af- ter 20 minutes or so, after I made that little mistake, I felt really good and managed the race from there. Chase [Sexton] made that little push right there at the end so I had to pick it up." "I got smashed from someone behind me in the second cor- ner," said Osborne after an uneven first moto. "It jammed my foot really bad. I could handle it, but the more I went on the more the pressure hurt. Between motos I got it massaged out and just took a big dose of adrenaline going to the line, which is about all you can do. They were trying to tape it and I was like, 'No, don't tape it. "It's frustra ng," he said. "Obviously, last weekend I did good in more of the sandy condi ons, but this weekend was harder dirt and the track was a bit difficult, just a very tough day overall. It's been a tough two weeks since my crash at Millville and then at prac ce at WW. I rode a couple laps this week, but I can't train on the motorcycle during the week because of my thumb. On race day, pain isn't the issue but strength-wise, it's not awesome and confidence-wise I was off." 74 MITCHELL HARRISON 8TH (8-9) 250MX "The track was definitely different than what we've been riding on the past few weeks, but we were up for the challenge," said Mitchell Harrison of the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Ka- wasaki Team. "I was so pumped to get the holeshot in the first moto. I just didn't find a groove right away and the track was challenging. They put down water and you had to be really cau ous those first few laps. Overall it was a solid day, but I want more. I want that top-five."
