Devlin Re-Signs With Beta

eta Racing announced that Thorn Devlin
has signed a two-year contract to continue
racing for the Beta USA Factory Race Team.
He will compete in the GNCC and NEPG
Series, as well as select East Hare Scramble
events. Devlin rides a Beta 250 RR Race Edi-
tion bike in GNCC XC2 Pro and a four-stroke
RR bike in National Enduro (NEPG). He has
found the podium in the NEPG series and is
currently the points leader with one event to
go in the AMA East Hare Scrambles Champi-
onship Series.
"We are excited to have Thorn back on
the team for the next two years," said Team
Manager Rodney Smith. "He is a talented rider
who competes hard at every event. Thorn has
a terrific attitude and represents the Beta Fac-
tory Race Team extremely well." CN

Three Winners At Donington British
Superbike
T
he penultimate round of the 2020 British
Superbike Championship at Donington
Park saw Andrew Irwin (Honda), Josh Brookes
(Ducati) and Tarran Mackenzie (Yamaha) all
take to the top step of the podium.
Irwin claimed race one, 1.8 seconds clear of
Ducati's Christian Iddon with Brookes taking third.
Australian Brookes bounced back in race two,
heading compatriot Jason O'Halloran (Yamaha)
and Mackenzie after taking the lead on lap five.
Mackenzie's win in race three saw him with
an advantage of 1.2 seconds over Glenn Irwin
(Honda), with Brookes in third.
The result for Brookes means he now en-
joys a 16-point advantage in the championship
over Iddon (225 to 209) heading into the sea-
son finale at Brands Hatch on October 16-18.
