FLAT TRACK PROGRESSIVE AMERICAN FLAT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS 11-12 / OCTOBER 3-4, 2020 DIXIE SPEEDWAY / WOODSTOCK, GEORGIA P70 on the back straight, and being on the inside, Daniels dove into three ahead of the polesitter. Not willing to give up, Mischler tried to counter back but the Estenson Racing rider was able to beat him to the line and keep his win streak rolling. "In the main event, he [Mischler] honestly was a little bit faster," Daniels said. I was kind of behind him just watching like last night, but I wasn't able to capitalize on him. Honestly, I was tapped out. That was all I had. On the last lap, all I was thinking was I needed him to make a mistake for me to get up beside him and I could run it into three. That's exactly what happened. I was able to get into three and off of four well and was able to win again, another double in Atlanta in Yamaha's backyard, which is really cool." more time and when I passed him that time I stuck to the bottom for a lap, and then I didn't hear him. Just kind of pulled away from then on." The young Brandon Kitchen, who came up through the ama- teur ranks with Daniels, showed impressive speed. The Donley Ex- cavating/TCD Suspension Honda CRF450F rider worked his way up from eighth to pass RMR Honda's Henry Wiles for third with a minute to go and take his second podium of the season. Saturday's race was a repeat of Friday's battle, only this time Mischler held the advantage until the very end. Daniels was unable to make a move on the KTM rider until the final lap. Once again going low into two as Mischler took the high line, the 17-year-old got a good drive and caught up to Mischler. The pair made contact "It was a new track for me," Daniels said. "I've never been here before, so it was kind of hard to figure out the track conditions. They were changing during the day. It sort of cooled off quite a bit in the evening, so the track kind of got slimy and the lines changed. I was really paying attention to the Production Twins main and the guys were running towards the bottom, so I thought maybe that would come. I got off to a decent start and was running behind Mischler. It was kind of good just to run second so I could kind of watch what he was doing and try to do something different. I was able to search around the race- track. I passed him, and when he passed me back, I was able to go wide in one and come down low. I was able to find a little moisture down there. He passed me one Daniels (32) and Morgen Mischler (13) duked it out in the Singles class with Daniels ultimately besting the polesitter in both main events.
