his way to the front by lap six. He
first made his way through on
teammate Mikey Rush, diving on
the inside going out of turn two.
A couple of laps later, he made
the same move on Wiles. The
RMR Honda rider tried to coun-
ter but the young Daniels once
again checked out to sweep the
weekend in Dallas.
A couple of laps later, Wiles
was under attack from Daniels'
teammate and found himself
in third. The Michigan rider
was not about to give up with
the championship on the line.
Rush was holding down sec-
ond and was not feeling 100%.
Daniels said. "I can't even tell
you how I felt after Volusia not
making that main event. I just
wanted to throw up. In this
sport you've got to learn how to
rebound quickly, and I think we
learned pretty quick getting that
win there and we've been uphill
ever since."
In the first main event, Daniels
slotted right behind Wally Brown
Racing's Chad Cose after the
start and was able to take over
the lead before the end of the
first lap. The 17-year-old put his
head down and left everyone in
the dust, crossing the line for his
second-straight victory.
Daniels' title rival Henry Wiles
made his way by Cose and tried
to chase down Daniels. Around
the halfway mark, his RMR Honda
teammate Michael Inderbitzin was
hot on his heels. Wiles is known
for not being easy to pass and the
veteran nearly pulled it off, but the
Californian made his way through
on the final lap to take his first
podium of the season.
On day two, Daniels was even
stronger. He was the fastest
qualifier, won his semi, and
started on pole. The only mar
on the day was a bad start in the
main that had him in fourth. Dan-
iels quickly recovered and made

main before pulling away for the win.
