MOTOCROSS
LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP
ROUND 7 / SEPTEMBER 26, 2020
WW RANCH MX PARK / JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
P62
IIIMY OWN RACE:
1 ELI TOMAC
3RD (6-2) 450MX
"Today we finally felt like we were
back to normal a bit with how moto
two shaped up," Tomac said. "Moto
one was similar to how the en re sea-
son has gone, where I get buried and
couldn't dig myself out of the hole,
but moto two, I felt fresh and felt like
I had a lot le in the tank, physically,
make that push. At this point we are
out of the tle fight, but that's not go-
ing to stop me from pushing for moto
wins these last two weekends."
9 ADAM CIANCIARULO
4TH (2-7) 450MX
"We put ourselves in such a good
posi on both motos to grab another
overall and close the points gap, so
I'm pre y disappointed with how
the second moto went," Cianciarulo
said. "I needed to be a li le stronger
at the end of moto one to hold off
Osborne, and moto two I felt like I
was doing everything right but le the
door open and came together with
Musquin. I did everything I could to
salvage what I could."
(Above) Justin Barcia (51),
who got on the podium last
week, got a good start in
the second 450MX moto,
but fell and had to pit to
repair a damaged radiator.
He got back out on the
track and caught up to 13th
for 10th overall.
(Right) Eli Tomac (1)
loomed large behind leader
Osborne in the second
moto. Tomac put on one
of his classic come-from-
behind charges but came
up just short this time.
