Osborne's struggles also
opened a door for three-time
champion Tomac, but poor
starts and the inability to make
many passes cost him dearly.
The one rider who would
seize on the points leader's
problems was Cianciarulo, last
year's 250 class champion. He
posted two wire-to-wire fin-
ishes, battling to the end in both
motos with a determined Blake
Baggett of the Rocky Mountain
ATV-MC/WPS KTM team.
"I was just kind of tunnel
vision all day," said Cianciarulo
who hails from Florida. "I've
never gone 1-1 before, even
"I honestly didn't see them,"
Osborne said of the missed
signals from the team. "I
thought they had changed
position (in pit row) and gone
back to get a wheel or some-
thing so I didn't see anyone,
and I just kept hammering
and trying to manage what I
could which was quite tough
in some places. I almost went

Osborne eventually limped

RJ Hampshire admitted after the race that
he was dealing with a hip injury during the
motos. "I had a practice crash in the sec-
ond session, and it actually upset my hip a
little more than I thought," Hampshire said.
"I led half of the first moto and was feeling
good but I kind of jammed it again and it

great, but we had a lot of speed today."
NO TY TODAY
Ty Masterpool (Monster Energy/Star
Racing Yamaha) sat out the Millville race
with a leg injury that he suffered when he
tangled with Jett Lawrence at RedBud 2.
He reported on social media that the "...
the bone is all good just the nerves are
all flared up so I have to take care of the
swelling and bruising." He's hopeful he'll
be ready for the next round in Florida.
MILLVILLE NOTES:
The rumor in the pits lately is that Geico
will not return as the team sponsor for the
Geico Honda squad in 2021; this could
mean that current team riders will be free
agents at the end of the season... Another
rumor involves Minnesota's own Ryan
Dungey who attended the Millville race
and is reportedly considering coming out
of retirement... It sounds as though the
Monster Energy/Star Racing Team
will handle Yamaha's factory racing effort
next year in the 450 class... Jalek Swoll
DNF'd the first 250MX moto when his
forks locked up, and then his shoulder
popped out during the second lap of the
second moto. He rode through it and
finished 18th in the moto... Stilez Robert-
son fell and hit his head during qualify-
ing and withdrew from the event... After
finishing sixth in the first 250MX moto,
Cameron McAdoo crashed out on the
third lap of the second moto.
