IIIMY OWN RACE: 25 MARVIN MUSQUIN 6TH (3-10) 450MX "I was doing great in moto two un l having a mishap at the very top of the mountain on the le -hander before you drop off," said Marvin Musquin. "I lost the rear just a li le bit and it got sideways even more while I was flying in the air, so when I landed, I was s ll sideways, and it hooked and had a big crash. It was hard to get back up, but I was able to get some points with 10th. I'm super disappointed because I was looking forward to ge ng a podium today, but I'm very lucky right now to not be injured." 4 BLAKE BAGGETT 2ND (2-2) 450MX "I'm giving it everything I got," Blake Bagge said. "RedBud reminded me that I got it in there, and I can do it. I'm really just enjoying it. I'm enjoying being a dad and trying to put it up front [for my son]. The goal is to try to be there at the end and if I don't win—like today, going 2-2 is awe- some, but at the same me I was so close to pulling it off—at least they knew I was coming and that's all that ma ers, so I'll take it." MOTOCROSS LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 6 / SEPTEMBER 19, 2020 SPRING CREEK MX PARK / MILLVILLE, MINNESOTA P62 ( Above) Blake Baggett (4) has shown that he can again run with the leaders. After winning a moto at the previous RedBud 2 round, Baggett again challenged Cianciarulo for the win but settled for a 2-2. (Right) Justin Barcia (51) finished out the day on the podium but was never really a threat to Cianciarulo or Baggett. Eli Tomac (1) found passing difficult at Spring Creek. it wasn't his day. In Minnesota, as Cianciarulo rode at the front with newfound confidence after win- ning his 450 overall at the previous round at RedBud 2. Meanwhile the 30-year-old veteran Osborne seemed set to manage his points lead in the long game of wrestling the number-one plate from Cian- ciarulo's Kawasaki teammate Eli Tomac, who continues to be incon- sistent and slightly off this autumn. But with 10 minutes to go in the second moto, Osborne realized he had a flat front tire. As his team tried to wave him into the signaling area for a quick change, Osborne contin- ued in the race, trying to salvage as many points as he could.
