Lindgren Leads The Way
T
he FIM Speedway World
Championship has seen
four different winners since
the 2020 championship
launched two weeks ago. Ar-
tem Laguta opened the cham-
pionship with
a victory at
the Grand
Prix of Poland
doubleheader
at Olympic
Stadium, Au-
gust 28. Ma-
ciej Janowski
responded a
day later with
a win of his own.
Rounds three and four
moved over to Edward Jancarz
Stadium in Poland, September
11 and 12, with Bartosz Zmarz-
lik and Fredrik Lindgren com-
ing away with the wins.
The Swede, Lindgren, has
been the most consistent so
far in the championship and
currently resides at the top
of the leaderboard just seven
points ahead of Zmarzlik.
Janowski is third, two points
behind Zmarzlik, while Tai Wof-
finden is fourth, another four
points in back of Janowski. CN

Toni Bou has already
won all three rounds of
the 2020 TrialGP World
Championship, his latest
coming in his home
country of Spain.
Bou Rolls On
R
epsol Honda rider Toni Bou
continued his winning ways
in the FIM TrialGP World Champi-
onship, which got underway last
weekend in France (September 5)
and continued on with rounds two
and three in Spain, September
12-13.
In France, Bou took the win
over Jaime Busto (Vertigo), fol-
lowed by Jeroni Fajardo (Sherco).
"Today was quite a strange
day," Bou said after his win in
France. "Going back into compe-
tition after so many months has
been difficult, but we did our best,
and we rode a trial with very few
mistakes. It was tough mentally
as we finished the event very late,
and it was hard to keep up. Now,
we have many trials one after the
other, so it will be tough."
Bou topped both days a week
later in Spain over Busto and
Adam Raga (TRRS).
Bou leads Raga in the champi-
onship by 10 points, 75-65. Busto
is third with 61. CN
