2020 WESS Championship Canceled,
Races Go On
T
here will be no World Enduro
Super Series Champion
crowned in 2020, but the four
races on the schedule will go
on as individual events, without
WESS status.
Due to the coronavirus pan-
demic resulting in restrictive travel
capabilities, the basis for a fair
championship is now no longer
possible. As a result, the decision
from WESS Promotion GmbH is to
suspend this year's championship.
The four races that were on
the WESS calendar will proceed
as planned. Those races are
Hawkstone Park (September 19-
20), Extreme XL Lagares (Octo-
ber 2-4), Hixpania Hard Enduro
(October 9-11) and Red Bull
Romaniacs (October 27-31). CN
The World Enduro
Super Series will not
crown a champion in
2020, but events will
march forward.
