for his first National appearance
in 2013.
As for the support class, the
AMA Pro J&P Cycles Pro Sin-
gles, they will be piloting their
single-engine machines for the
third time this season. Michigan's
Kyle Johnson and New Yorker
Jake Constantine both took
checkered flags at Daytona and
will look to have similar success
next month when the lights go on
in Stockton.

The Stockton Half-Mile is a
new venue for the AMA Grand
National Championship, but the
Stockton area has a rich tradition
in motorcycle racing. Seven-time
AMA Grand National Champion
Chris Carr is the most famous
Grand National racer from Stockton. The city is also hometown
for former AMA and World Superbike Champion Fred Merkel and
other leading AMA racers including Rich Arnaiz, Alex Jorgensen
and Aaron Hill.
