AFT SINGLES MAIN 2 Looking to avenge his first main-event effort of the night, Mikey Rush was fastest semi winner in round two. Rush's hopes of domination were quickly squashed as Trevor Brunner (Demske Rac- ing/KMA Racing, Honda CRF450R) grabbed the holeshot and never gave up the lead. Brunner's race was not without challenge, though. "Pretty much the whole right side and middle (of my visor) was all fogged up," said Brun- ner. "I could kind of see out of the left corner, so we kept her pinned and hoped for the best. It was a long race for sure. It was a really tough track, which tested your fitness to the max. It felt like forever, but we pulled it off and I'm so happy." Wiles worked his way up to second but was still over a second behind at the end. After finishing second to the 2018 Nicky Hayden Flat Track Hori- zon winner in the first race, he finished second to the 2019 winner in the second. Max Whale edged Rush off the podium for third as race one winner Daniels finished fifth. CN Dallas Daniels won the first of the two AFT Singles main events. He was fifth in the second race.
