Briefly...
rider, Ferrandis, by nine points.
"I'm not going to deny it, I was pretty
pissed off," Martin said of the incident
with Ferrandis. "I know Dylan and I are in
this championship and I have a ton of re-
spect for the guy. I knew it was coming, I
knew he was going to start to get aggres-
sive, but I didn't expect it going down the
straightaway like that, so I guess it's just
game on for the rest of the year."
Ferrandis said, "It was really unfortu-
nate. I don't really know what happened.
I think this championship is between us
two, and we both really want it. So, I think
it was just a racing incident."
Hampshire (Rockstar Energy Husqvar-
na) is third in the championship having
overtaken Monday's first-moto winner
Shane McElrath, who had a terrible sec-
ond moto after spinning off the starting
gate. Hampshire trails runner-up Ferran-
dis by 37 points.
